32 degrees at 4:45 AM, probably dropped a little more … Official from the National Weather Service, info from their local weather station at the Curtis Brown Airport … Brrrrrr cold.

Today’s forecast, sunny, with a high near 60 and a calm wind around 5 MPH. Low tonight near 41. High for the next 3 or 4 days near 70 and lows in the low to upper 40s.

Thanksgiving, a week from today … FYI, all Bladen County Solid Waste Sites will be closed Thursday in observance of the holiday. Normal operations will resume Friday. The Transfer Station will be closed both days with normal operation resuming on Monday.

News related to COVID-19 is good and bad. Medication is expected soon, that’s good … but, the number of those suffering from the virus continues to increase, at a faster pace, and that’s a bad.

Thanksgiving is traditionally one of the most popular holidays of all … folks on the move, families together enjoying a feast and fellowship. Health professionals are warning … be cautious…

The US is ‘kinda’ in limbo … a change in administration coming in late January, everyday folks and businesses affected by the virus are running out of money, some calling for more stimulus and coronavirus still a huge concern … Can we ‘fast forward’ to springtime?
