COVID-19 testing and vaccines are available at the Bladen County Health Department and the Bladen County Hospital.

Announcement from Cape Fear Valley: Due to a change in the number of COVID-19 vaccines Cape Fear Valley Health has been allotted by the State of North Carolina, the health system has had to reconfigure the way in which we run our COVID-19 vaccination clinics.

Effective Tuesday, January 26, the health system will no longer be able to accommodate walk-ins for first-dose vaccinations at any of the four vaccine clinics currently in operation at Cape Fear Valley Rehabilitation Center, Health Pavilion North, Hoke Hospital and Bladen County Hospital.

Appointments can be scheduled to receive a first-dose vaccination at www.capefearvalley.com/COVID19. We will open appointments for a given week the Saturday before. For example, appointments for the week of Feb 2-5 will open for scheduling on Saturday, Jan. 31.

We are committed to providing second doses to those who received a first dose from Cape Fear Valley Health. At this time, no appointment is required for the second dose, but this may change as our supply levels fluctuate. We ask that individuals return to the same location where they received their first dose to receive the second dose.

For an up-to-date listing of our vaccination clinics and information regarding appointments, please visit www.capefearvalley.com/COVID19 or the Cape Fear Valley Facebook page at www.facebook/capefearvalley.

Additionally, we have set up an automated message line, (910) 615-9000, which will be updated throughout the vaccine process with the phase we are currently vaccinating.
