North Carolina Department of Transportation released an update on Bladen County road closings this afternoon.
CLOSINGS:
CLOSED
NC242 closed from Elizabethtown Road., 0.1 mi. W of SR1116 – Horseshoe Road) starting March 1, 2021, at 8:00 am thru March 12, 2021, 5:00 pm for crossline repair
U.S. Highway 701N
Both lanes of the North Bound U.S. Highway 701 over the Cape Fear River is closed. Traffic will be rerouted to the Southbound lanes. The closure has a WIDE LOAD TRAFFIC RESTRICTION.

Elwell Ferry is closed.
