Back-to-school time is approaching, and so is the Bladen Community College Back to School Blast. This is an event for all Bladen County students, whether they go to public, private, or charter schools.
At the event, school uniforms will be given out. To accommodate each attending student, the hosts of the event need help from the community. Bladen Community College and Elizabethtown Rotary Club are hosting a Polo To Go uniform drive. New and used uniform clothes can be donated to give out at the Back to School Blast.
Donation boxes can be found at several county offices, including the Board of Education, Bladen County Hospital, Bladen County Public Library, Bladen County Health Department, and others. If you prefer, you can take them directly to BCC to Sondra Guyton in Building 14.
President of Elizabethtown Rotary Club, Wayne Schaeffer, stated, “Elizabethtown Rotary is delighted to be a part of this campaign. It is a great opportunity for students and parents.”
