Bladen County’s professional golfer Kayla Thompson missed the cut in the Babe Zaharis Open held in Beaumont, Texas this week.
Thompson shot (round 1) 38-39=77, (round 2) 38-34=72, (round 3) 37-38=75. She missed the cut by 4 strokes.
Thompson is a graduate of West Bladen High School and UNCW. She makes her home in Clarkton.
