Thoughts While Shaving
Spread the love

Work your whole life and retire … Not sure I am interested in knowing what is next … the next big event … Doc apparently thinks I am in pretty good shape … for a 1938 model…

Stock Market is headed south … Sure could use a little good news today…

Mostly sunny today, with a high near 42 and windy. Clear skies tonight, low around 23. Sunny, Thursday, with a high near 47. Looking ahead to Friday, 50% chance of precipitation, increasing to 60% chance of rain before 1 a.m., then a chance of snow … It’s late January and February arrives in a few days … Typical … forecast…

See the high school All-American girls basketball team has been named … All they need is a good coach or two or three…

I see the info from the Bladen County Health Department indicating a huge increase in number of residents receiving shots to hopefully prevent COVID-19 … Not sure what has caused the increase, but hope the numbers are correct … Have seen cars lined up a few times recently, hopeful others will do the same…

I really do think about the possibilities of the virus when in a large gathering … always have a mask on my face or in my pocket … Have heard it is tough on older folks … just want to be prepared … at all times…

Kinda concerned about the threat of another war … Hope all involved “throttle back” on the rhetoric…

One more thought … One of the sidekicks on high school football games in past years is making his mark in Michigan … Joe Melvin is now a full-time recruiter for new investment in that state … Sent me a note … Headline … “Historic $7 million investment by GM secures Michigan as home for company’s EV future.” He did not claim credit, but timing is good…
