Spread the love

By Cara Beth Lewis

The National Beta Club teaches students to lead by serving others and has been on this mission since its founding in 1934. Each year, students across the nation who are members of the service, leadership, character, and achievement-based club attend state conventions to showcase their academic excellence, talent, and creativity. While NC Senior Beta members (grades 9-12) have arrived back home with their awards, Junior Beta is competing now.

Bladen County was certainly represented well by Senior Beta members from West Bladen High School and neighboring Harrells Christian Academy, attended by many Bladen residents.
