As part of Executive Order 246, the N.C. Department of Transportation is tasked with creating a North Carolina Clean Transportation Plan (NCCTP) by April 2023. This plan aims to collaborate with stakeholders to recommend strategies to reduce greenhouse gasses in the transportation sector.
The webinar will open with brief remarks by Governor Roy Cooper and state Transportation Secretary Eric Boyette. Following these remarks, NCDOT staff and other presenters will provide an overview of the Clean Transportation Plan process and introduce stakeholders to workgroups the department has established to co-create plan recommendations.
This session will also provide members of the public with different ways to engage in the Clean Transportation Plan process and provide input during the NCCTP’s process.
