Where were you 52 years ago? … Anyone remember the Kent State shooting … Set the stage, all across the U.S., there was concern about the expansion of the Vietnam War, it was spilling over into Cambodia. May 4, 1970, National Guardsmen opened fire on a student protest at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. 67 shots were fired in 13 seconds … 4 students were killed … 52 years ago… I know, not a good way to begin a new week … One of darkest days in the U.S.
A reminder, the new schedule for opening and closing of the bridge across the Cape Fear River was scheduled to begin today … Been pushed back at least one day … More info hopefully today … Closures are expected to be for an hour in the AM and another hour in the PM … Patience…
Apparently the issues that are playing havoc for BladenOnline are no better today … The company that has provided support for BladenOnline since its beginning in 2008 can’t seem to get to the bottom of the problem … Hopefully all will be better soon … not a promise, but my hope and prayer…
