LOUISBURG – East Bladen’s boys’ golf team finished 7th Monday in the NCHSAA Class 2A Mid East Regional at The River Golf Club at Lake Royale. The Eagles totaled 409 strokes. Midway won the regional with a 329 total.
West Bladen’s Issac Mendoza posted a 96 in the individual tournament, and teammate Trent Meares turned in a 102 score. Nash Central’s Spencer Edwards copped medalist honors with a 73, and Midway’s Logan Atkins and Caden Hodges shot 79’s to tie for second.
Jake Lewis, Chase Knight and Bailey Williams all carded 102’s for East Bladen. Teammate Connor Britt finished with a 103.
