If you have the time, the Bladen County Board of Elections has an open voting booth available.

Through Tuesday, less than 1% of Bladen County’s approximately 21,788 registered voters have cast a ballot during the early voting period, according to the Board of Elections.

The One-Stop voting period ends Saturday at 3 p.m. ahead of the May 17 primary that will determine candidates for the November general election.

In the first 13 days of early voting that began April 28 there have been 1,479 ballots cast. More than half (837 ballots or 56.5%) have been cast at the Elections Office in Elizabethtown. There have been 288 ballots cast in Bladenboro, 203 in East Arcadia and 151 in Tar Heel.  

Voting is available at the following locations from 8 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. through Friday and from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday.

• Bladen County Board of Elections, 301 S. Cypress St., Elizabethtown

• Spaulding Monroe Cultural Center, 508 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., Bladenboro

• East Arcadia Town Hall, 1472 East Arcadia Rd., Riegelwood

• Tar Heel Municipal Building, 14867 NC 87 West, Tar Heel

During the early voting period, voters may cast a ballot at any one-stop site in their county. Eligible individuals may register and vote at the same time.
