Thoughts While Shaving For May 13

Robert Hester, Founder of BladenOnline.comAs I age, the past becomes more important…Enjoy sharing tales with friends, wonder where my high school classmates are…wonder who is deceased and if still living, where are they located….And, think about a class reunion….See where some are doing that…Just a thought…

I think back to my old home church, where I began forming friendships many, many years ago…Fond memories…

Thought we were going to get some serious rain a couple of times over the past 24 hours…Never more than a sprinkle…Maybe today…

A 60% chance of rain before noon, according to the forecast, then showers likely after 2 p.m. High temp near 79…Tonight, showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. Looking ahead to Saturday…A 50% chance of showers and a thunderstorm is possible….

We need some rain…90 degree temps are possible next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

I know I sound like a broken record, but….Early Voting ends Saturday (tomorrow). Primary election set for Tuesday, May 17.

White Lake Water Festival, next weekend…May 20 & 21.

As a card carrying member of the ‘old folks’ club..I can’t remember anything….most confusing is to greet someone you have known for years and no idea who they are…Think folks over some age should be required to display there name someplace highly visable….on the front…smile…fat chance that will happen…Just a thought….
