ELIZABETHTOWN – Semaj McRae ran for a pair of touchdowns as East Bladen rolled to a 30-12 jayvee football victory over Midway Thursday night in the Southeastern Athletic Conference season opener for both teams.
McRae scored on runs of 5 and 20 yards for the Eagles. Sophomore Dominik Collins caught a 50-yard pass from quarterback Aiden Hargrove for the 1st Eagle touchdown. Freshman Keyshawn Kemp raced 40 yards for another East Bladen touchdown.

Cole Butler grabbed a teammate’s fumble and scored the 1st 2-point conversion for the Eagles. Butler later snagged a pass from Hargrove for another 2-point conversion. Torrean Cogdell ran for the other East Bladen 2-point conversion.
The Eagle jayvees improved to 2-3 overall and will travel to Clinton Thursday night.
