My cup runneth over … So much to think about, mostly good…
Thinking back over the years, I left Bladenboro going to Charlotte to attend Carolina School of Broadcasting in the late 50s … eventually moved to Elizabethtown … Knew very few folks … in early 60s … My only experience dealing with people was several years at Hinson’s Super Market in Bladenboro … with JZ and Sally Hinson, wonderful folks…
Now, I am in E-town … maybe know a half dozen folks … But it all worked out. I look back and thank all, including the good man above … I am thankful…
Yesterday, took a short trip with one of my first contacts … David Shaw … We toured Tar Heel, Bladenboro, Chadbourn, Tabor City and Whiteville … just sharing thoughts … about 99% were good, positive thoughts. Oh, the other 1% I should not share … not bad, just not interested in sharing…
Ever think back and think of folks who befriended or made a huge impact on your life … I am fortunate, there have been many … So as I am resting, in bed last evening, thinking about friends who I crossed paths with … I am reminded … again … I am among men, most richly blessed … and thanks to all…
