At a Special Called Meeting on September 14, 2015, Mrs. Ashley Dowless and Mr. Lorenzo McDowell were sworn-in to serve as members of the Town of Elizabethtown Planning Board. Mrs. Ashley Dowless was appointed by the Bladen County Commissioners to serve on the Elizabethtown Planning Board as the Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) representative while Mr. Lorenzo McDowell was appointed by Town Council to fill an existing vacancy created by the recent death of Mr. J. C. Batchelor.
At the September 14th Planning Board meeting, Planning Board Chairman Howell Clark welcomed the two new board members aboard. Shown left to right in the photo are Planning Board Chairman Howell Clark, Mrs. Ashley Dowless and Mr. Lorenzo McDowell.
