East Bladen defeated visiting West Bladen 2-0 Thursday in Four County Conference jayvee volleyball action by game scores of 25-18 and 25-15.
Shardajah Brown hammered in 10 kills, 3 aces and 5 service points to lead the Lady Eagles. Teammate Bethany Lesane fired in 7 service points, 3 aces and a kill.
Sophomore Kaley Smith knocked in 7 service points and an ace and dished out 3 assists for East. Freshman Ashley Hardin contributed 7 assists and 2 service points for the winners.
Alexa Hernanaez racked up 4 kills, 2 aces and 2 service points for East. Teammate Fatih Johnson tallied 3 service points and an ace, Jozee Strickland added 2 service points, and Sarah Johnson had a kill.
Alise Pait led the Lady Knight servers with 5 service points and an ace. Teammate Patience Parker slammed in 3 kills, and sophomore Brinkley Collier collected 2 service points.
Sophomore Mikayla Winebarger checked all the stat sheet columns for West with 3 service points, 2 kills, an ace, 2 digs and an assist. Teammate Callie Lewis finished with a service point and an assist.
Sophomore Elizabeth Allbright posted a service point, a kill and a dig for the Lady Knights, and freshman Raegan Davis chipped in with a kill, a service point and an assist.
The East Bladen jayvees improve to 6-7 on the season, while the Lady Knights are now 5-8.
