Union scored a pair of first-half touchdowns and went on to claim a 22-0 Four County Conference jayvee football victory at West Bladen Thursday night.
“We moved the ball at times,” said West Bladen Coach Kris Williams. “The defense struggled early, but played better after that.” The Spartans tacked on a final touchdown midway the fourth quarter.
“I am proud of my kids,” continued Coach Williams. “They played hard, just came out on the short end.”
The Knights are now 1-2 on the season.
