Star Communications

Star Communication employees will be collecting food for the upcoming holiday season again this year. Many residents in the area have a difficult time providing food on a daily basis for their family and food for the holiday season may be more than they can hope for without assistance.

Beginning Monday, September 28 and continuing through Friday, October 3, Star employees will continue their effort of collecting non-perishable food and monetary donations to support the efforts of local food banks in the five county area served by Star Communications.

Star Communications employees will be accepting food and monetary donations at five area sites on Saturday, October 3. Collection sites include Bo’s Food Store in Elizabethtown, Piggly Wiggly food stores at Jordan Shopping Center and Shamrock in Clinton, Piggly Wiggly at Lakewood Plaza in Roseboro and Piggly Wiggly in Garland from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. If you would like to join the Star employees at the collection sites, contact the Elizabethtown or Clinton offices. Contributions will also be accepted at Star Communication offices, in Clinton and Elizabethtown.

Contributions, food and monetary, will be donated to the Bladen Baptist Association, The Salemburg Christian Food Bank and Rock Ministries/Garland Food Bank.
