Area offices and agencies have announced schedules for New Year’s Day.
All banks are closed on Friday, Jan. 1, and will re-open for business on Monday, Jan. 4.
There will be no mail delivery on New Year’s Day. The Postal Service will resume its normal operating schedule on Saturday, Jan. 2.
North Carolina state offices, courts and county and municipal government offices will be closed for New Year’s Day. They will re-open for business on Monday, Jan. 4.
All Bladen County Public Library branches will close at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31, and remain closed on Friday, Jan. 1, in observance of the New Year’s holiday.
The Bladen County Transfer Station will be closed Friday, Jan. 1, in observance of New Year’s Day. Normal operations shall resume on Monday, Jan. 4. All other county collection centers will be open New Year’s Day on regular scheduling.
