Lauren Bowen pitched a 3-inning no-hitter and struck out 9 batters to lead the Glory to a 15-0 victory over the Force Thursday night in Bladen Recreation 11-12 Softball action at County Park.

Lachelle Parks ripped a single to left, and Bowen reached on an error to start the Glory first inning. Kayleigh Raynor hammered a ground-rule double to leftfield that scored Parks.

Alyssa Futrell slammed a double that scored Bowen and Raynor. Hannah Cole and Weslyn Hall drew walks, and Futrell and Cole scored runs as the lead grew to 5-0.

Luz Ramos and Bowen drew walks in the Glory second inning. Raynor drilled a double that drove in Ramos. Futrell knocked in Bowen and Raynor with a single.

Katie Evans beat out an infield hit, and Cole walked before Merritt Martin drove in Futrell and Evans with a single. Hall and Carington McDowell drew walks, and Cole and Martin scored runs. Ramos knocked in Hall with a single as the lead grew to 13-0.

Parks walked and Bowen blasted a double that scored Parks. After Raynor walked, Futrell’s fielder’s choice plated Bowen and ended the game on the run-rule.

Raynor batted 2-2 with 2 doubles and 2 runs batted in. Futrell finished 2-3 at the plate with a double and 4 rbi’s. Bowen doubled in a run, and Ramos and Martin added rbi singles. Evans and Parks contributed one single each.

Lauren Pait, Hannah Pait, Amber Hickman and Alyssa Benson drew walks for the Force.
