On Friday, May 20, the West Bladen FFA Chapter was happy to welcome Sarah Draper, National FFA Officer from the Western Region, and Jacob Fipps, NCFFA Vice President. They came during fourth period to talk to the Agriculture classes that were offered at that time. The West Bladen FFA officers were also there to meet her, listen, and make her feel welcome.
Sarah talked mostly to the seniors about graduating and college. She said that when you graduate high school, you move from the passenger seat to the driver’s seat. She played a fun and entertaining game with them that involved all of the students. Before they left, Amber Long, President, and Breanna Carlton, Treasurer, presented both of them with a t-shirt, an Ag-Life decal, and presented Sarah with a Lily and Laura bracelet to thank them for coming.
