Adopt-a-Pet

All pet owners are invited to the Bladen County Rabies Clinic. According to North Carolina law, “The owner of every dog and cat over four months of age shall have the animal vaccinated against rabies.” In Bladen County , the owners of dogs and cats, which have not been vaccinated in accordance with this law are subject to a civil penalty in the amount of $200.

The rabies clinic for dogs and cats will be October 8th, 2016 at Bladen County Animal Control located at 506 Smith Circle in Elizabethtown. The event will be held from 10 a.m. until noon.

There will be one year and three year rabies shots available for $6.00 each. Owners must have proof of previous Rabies shot to get a three year vaccine.
