The Big Swamp Sluggers won the 2017 United States Slow-Pitch Softball Association Winter Worlds Slow Pitch Tournament this past weekend. The Big Swamp Sluggers posted a perfect 6-0 to win the E Division pool championship. 

Teams from North Carolina, Tennessee, Maryland and Virginia competed in the tournament.  Big Swamp clinched the championship on Sunday winning 3 games in a “One Pitch” format. Four of the Sluggers were named to the All-World team. All World Selections were: Matt Davis, Daniel Skipper, Tripp Lancaster and Shawn Lovette.
