Chickenfoot Road will close temporarily beginning Monday for a crossline replacement, per Kenneth Clark with the North Carolina Department of Transporation.
Beginning this morning, N.C. DOT will be closing Chickenfoot Road at the north intersection of Pone Loop Road in order to install a new crossline as part of the drainage upgrades on Pone Loop Road. The road will be closed through tomorrow afternoon. Use NC 20 and Purdie Hall Road for access around the work area.
