A female hiker suffered a minor knee injury on Tuesday afternoon while hiking at Jones Lake State Park, according to Ranger Lane Garner.
He said the hiker was unable to walk out on her own, so the Rangers took a backboard onto the trail and carried her out of the woods. Garner said the hiker was transported by Bladen County EMS to Cape Fear Valley Bladen Healthcare for treatment of minor injuries.
