The 67 players that showed up to play the June 27 SFSGA tournament at Fairmont Golf Course found that a new format was in order. They were playing a Texas Scramble. Three flights were used and the winners were. (First Flight-133) Ronnie Russ, Freddie Atkinson, Larry Mitchell, Odell Pait. (Second Flight-138) L.R. Odham, Larry Suggs, Jeff Wrenn, Mark Dixon. (Third Flight-140) W.C. Meares, Bill Settlemyer, Jimmy Cook, Bobby Gooden.
Next week’s tournament will be at The Meadowlands.
