Wonder if former Sen. Jeff Sessions has regrets about resigning his position to join President Trump’s cabinet. He is catching a lot of ‘flack’ from his new boss. About a year ago, he provided a lot of support to the Trump campaign, helped push them across the finish line. In politics, it’s what have you done for me lately.
Lots of info related to redistricting efforts by the US Supreme Court. There must be a better way to do. For years, in North Carolina, the Democrats ‘stuck-it’ to the Republicans and in recent years it has been reversed. The real losers are the voters. We may have some idea of what the high court plans are by watching and reading about a case involving the state of Wisconsin that the high court has agreed to hear. According to some analyst, the case could have “enormous ramifications” for all states. I hope so.
As I have stated in the past, Thursday is my favorite day of the week. It’s family night, meet my siblings and their spouses for a meal and catch-up on family happenings, beginning at 6 PM. Been doing it for many years, never gets old. Momma must be smiling down, it began before she passed away, many, many years ago.
