The Carolina Civic Center Historic Theatre is holding auditions for its sixth Annual “A Robeson County Christmas Show” original production. Directed by the theater’s resident artist, Kendrix Singletary, the show is a heart-warming, holiday musical revue that the entire family will enjoy. The show will feature a talented local cast of singers and dancers performing popular and traditional season classics. With special appearances by Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, The Grinch, Frosty the Snowman, and of course Santa Claus! Rehearsals will start in September, with show dates Dec. 7-10, with school shows during the week of November 27.

 

Seeking:

3 female singer/dancers

3 male singer/dancers

Also seeking mature and talented young looking children ages seven and older who dance and take direction well.

Auditions will take place at the Carolina Civic Center downtown Lumberton on:

Friday Aug. 11 at 6pm and 7:30pm and  Saturday August 12 at 10am

Christmas songs would be appropriate for your audition but not required. Please bring your own accompaniment tracks (a cd player will be provided) and be ready to learn a short movement routine.  All adult performers will receive a stipend at the end of the last show.
