Access To Bladen County Sheriff’s Office To Be By Telephone

The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office began limiting access to its offices on Smith Circle in Elizabethtown late Thursday afternoon in response to concerns about COVID-19.

Until further notice, public access to the Sheriff’s Office will be by telephone at 910-862-6960.

Anyone with an emergency situation can call 911, Sheriff Jim McVicker said.

McVicker said the change is being made to limit exposure to employees to potential carriers of the virus.

“If you have an emergency situation, rest assured we will respond,” McVicker said.

“All pistol permits, concealed carry permits, inmate questions and other issues will be handled by telephone.

Inmate ATM can be handled online at Jailatm.com.
