An accident at a sawmill on NC 210 near Ivanhoe sent one man to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
Bladen County Emergency Management Director Bradley Kinlaw said the incident occurred at 2:37 p.m. at a saw mill located at 23704 NC 210 East, Ivanhoe.
“They were attempting to load a truck and a log pierced the cab of the truck and pinned the driver inside the cab,” said Kinlaw.
He stated the driver did receive injuries and was transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Kinlaw stated he did not know the name of the driver.
