Things have been rocking at Vineyard Golf at White Lake. There has been activities aplenty at Vineyard Golf this week.
On Monday a group of about 70 players from a Fayetteville senior organization played the course. On Tuesday the Southeastern Fellowship of Senior Golfers, about 70 in all, played and on Saturday, September 23 there will be a tournament with over 100 players participating.
The Friday Tossup saw a good group of senior golfers teeing it up. The team of Stacy Owen, Lenon Fisher, Charles DeVane and Henry Warwick won the front side with a score of plus 2. The backside was won by David Cross, Lloyd Hester, Micky Brisson and Glenn Robertson with a score of one under par. David Cross, age 78, continues his stellar play with two-over 74.
