What a week at Vineyard Golf. A great tournament put on by the Elizabethtown Rotary Club with kudos going to Michael Leinwand and Pam Taylor for doing a great job. A full field of golfers, on a perfect day, enjoyed a beautiful golf course.
A real interesting Thundering Herd with five teams participating. A unique situation occurred when two teams tied … with the two teams posting the same scores on all nine holes.
Recently two hole-in-ones were recorded. Gene Boss aced number two while Henry Warwick, age 84, had his sixth lifetime ace, when he knocked it in on number twelve. Chase Knight had his first ever eagle on hole eighteen.
Vineyard Golf has a new greens keeper, Justin Dove. Dove took over for the departing Bobby Davis. Good Luck Justin.
