There will be an Agriculture and Forest Landowners meeting on Wednesday, January 27, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the Powell Melvin Agricultural Service Center Auditorium located at 450 Smith Circle Drive in Elizabethtown.
Topics will include Evaluating Conservation Easements, Solar Leases & Land Lease Proposals; Economic Outlook of Agriculture; Current Projects and Future Opportunities with Cape Fear Resource Conservation and Development; Tax Office Updates and Present Use Value; Farm Bill and Farm Services Agency Updates; Voluntary Agricultural District Updates; Forest Service Update and Programs and updates from Farm Credit and Farm Bureau.
