All three Bladen County teams – Galeed, Hickory Grove and Dublin – are still alive after two nights of play in the Lumber River Church Softball Men’s Tournament.

Galeed opened play Monday night with a 21-16 victory over The Rock, while Hickory Grove piled up more than 20 runs in a victory over Zion Hill on Tuesday night. Hickory Grove and Galeed will meet Thursday night at 8:30 at Sammy Cox Park.

Dublin, the regular-season champion, dropped their opening game Tuesday night to Antioch but bounced back to defeat Long Branch in Tuesday night’s second game. Dublin will play Saddletree Thursday night at 7:30 at Broadridge.
