Allen-Mingo #325, Order of the Golden Circle, PHA Scholarship was given in memory of Alfredia Ward Godwin. She was serving as the Loyal Lady Ruler at the time and she passed in February of 2021. Allen-Mingo Assembly #325 proudly announce the following college students as recipients of the organization’s scholarships for the year 2021.
Alizabeth D’Shariti Ellen Ervin is a 2021 honor graduate of Whiteville High School. She is the daughter of Arika Ervin, of Whiteville, NC. She is attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC. Her major is Political Science with a minor in Psychology and her career goal is to become a Political Scientist.
Tatianna Jenai McElveen is a 2021 honor graduate of East Bladen High School (honor student). She is the daughter of Freddie & Ilka McElveen of Elizabethtown, NC. She is attending NC A&T University, Greensboro, NC. Her major is Environmental Science and her career objective is to become an Agricultural Economist.
