State officials announced Friday, August 9th the online giant, Amazon will open a 200 million dollar distribution center in Garner, North Carolina. The site was formerly ConAgra plant and will be repurposed to house the popular online retail store.

The distribution center is scheduled to be opened in 2019 according to Amazon representatives. The center will have 2.6 million square feet and may hire up to 1,500 people.
