OPENINGS:

No openings – All work completion delayed this week due to to weather and/or unavailability of asphalt for patching (see revised schedules below).

CLOSINGS:

SR 1100 (Center Road)

SR 1100 (Center Road) remains closed at a location 0.44 miles south of SR 1101 (Marsh Road) in order to replace a large crossline pipe.  The road will be closed through Monday afternoon of next week (6/12).

SR 1171 (Old Abbottsburg Road)

SR 1171 (Old Abbottsburg Road) remains closed 0.72 miles east of SR 1172 (Grimsley Farm Road) in order to replace a large crossline damaged by the hurricane.  The road will remain closed through late Tuesday of next week (6/13).

SR 1176 (Forrest Drive)

SR 1176 (Forest Drive) remains closed 0.09 miles north of SR 1177 (Galeed Church Road) in order to complete the last of four crossline replacements.  The road will be closed through Monday afternoon of next week (6/12).

SR 1191 (Old NC 41)

SR 1191 (Old NC 41) is closed 0.55 miles west of NC 131 in order to replace crosslines damaged by the hurricane.  The road will remain closed through June 19th.

UPCOMING CLOSINGS:

SR 1121 (Zion Hill Church Road)

Beginning later in the day on Monday, June 12 we plan to close SR 1121 (Zion Hill Church Road) just east of SR 1120 (Butler Mill Road) in order to replace a crossline pipe.  The road will remain closed through the end of next week.

SR 1178 (Richardson Road)

Beginning Monday, June 12 we plan to close SR 1178 (Richardson Road) between NC 211 Business and the CSX Railroad in order to replace several crossline pipes and install one new one.  The road will be closed all next week with work possibly rolling into the following week (depending upon weather).  POSTPONED UNTIL JULY

SR 1128 (Barry Lewis Road)

Beginning Tuesday, June 13, we plan to close SR 1128 (Barry Lewis Road) at a location 0.31 miles north of SR 1131 (Webb Faulk Road) to begin the first of three crossline replacements.  The road will be closed through the end of next week, possibly re-open for the weekend, then be closed again the following week.

ELWELL FERRY:

The Elwell Ferry IS NOT operating due to high water levels.  We expect levels to return to operating range in the next day or two.
