The North Carolina Department of Transportation has released an updated listing of road openings/closings for Bladen County. An update of road openings / closings is as follows:
OPENINGS:

EXISTING CLOSINGS:
Berry Lewis Road
Berry Lewis Road remains closed in order to replace a large crossline pipe damaged during the hurricane. The location of the closure is 1.2 miles west of Forest Drive. The contractor is ahead of schedule so the road should open by the end of this week.
Owen Hill Road
Owen Hill Road remains closed due to the construction of a double line of cast in place reinforced concrete box culvert. Construction is well underway, but it will be a few weeks before work is complete.
Davis Road
Davis Road is closed in order to replace a large crossline pipe damaged during the hurricane. The location of the closure is 0.16 miles east of Joyner Road. The road will be closed through the end of next week.
Figure 9 Road
Figure 9 Road remains closed 1.73 miles from Elwell Ferry Road in order to replace a crossline pipe. The road will remain closed at that location through the middle of next week.
UPCOMING CLOSINGS:
Jack Richardson Road
Jack Richardson Road will close tomorrow in order to replace a crossline pipe damaged during the hurricane. The location of the closure is 0.56 miles north of Johnsontown Road. The road could be closed through early next week depending upon how much rain we receive Friday.
ELWELL FERRY
Elwell Ferry is operating on normal schedule.
