It was perfect weather for the annual Bladenboro Fun Day carnival this Saturday, September 10th, at the Bladenboro Historical Society building.

The celebrations started with a pancake breakfast by the Bladenboro Rotary Club. The festivities continued at 10 a.m. on the lawn of the historical building. The band the “Loose Floor Boards” kept folks entertained. Craft vendors were set up selling a large selection of items.

There was camel and pony rides, a dunking booth, train rides, bounce houses, and games. Delicious food was available to hit the spot when the crowd worked up an appetite.

Topher Callihan drew the winners of the gift certificate drawings. Jamie Willoughby won a $20 cash prize for having the most strikes at the dunking booth.
