Bargain lovers should be happy in Bladen County for the next six days. The Annual 4th of July Side Walk Sale started today in Elizabethtown and will go through Monday, July 6th. Businesses such as Leinwand’s, Toddlers and Teens, Ray’s Furniture, and Fisher’s, who have been holding this annual sale for many years, are joined this year with new businesses holding a sale.

Stores not only on Broad Street are participating. Whimsical Flowers & Gifts on Poplar Street is also marking down their prices. Vicky Williams, from the shop said, “We are holding this sale to make room for our fall merchandise that will be here before you know it.”

Most store owners participating say their sales will be available today through Monday, July 6th, except for Sunday, July 5th. Before you head out to the beach, lake, mountains or that cookout, shop local and enjoy savings.
