An arrest has been made on the October 8, 2017 breaking and entering that happened in the 1800 block of Harrelson Road near Clarkton according to Sheriff James A. McVicker.

“A homeowner reported a breaking and entering at his residence on October 8th,” said Sheriff McVicker. “He reported over $6,000 in property stolen. On October 11th, one of my deputies received an anonymous tip which investigators followed up on and were able to recover over $4,800 in stolen property and make three arrests.”

Arrested and charged with Felonious Breaking and Entering, Felonious Larceny and Felonious Possession of Stolen Goods was Teddy Randall Deaver Jr., 33, of 166 Shannon Drive, Clarkton. Deaver’s bond was set at $250,000 secured.

Also charged was Benjamin Henry Warwick Jr., 38, of 192 Summer Hill Drive, Elizabethtown. In addition to being charged with the breaking and entering, Warwick was charged with Felony Probation Violation. His bond was set at $300,000 secured.

The third suspect arrested was Adam Lee Sessoms, 21, of 308 Harrelson Road, Clarkton. Sessoms was charged with the break in and a misdemeanor probation violation. His bond was set at $252,000.

“We welcome the involvement of the public in crimes like this,” said McVicker. “We will always follow up on tips and as in this case, they many times prove invaluable. Without citizens willing to become involved our job is so much harder. This tip lead to putting another group of thieves in jail where they cannot continue to prey on hard working individuals.”
