The Elizabethtown Police Department along with agents of the North Carolina Probation and Parole and the Bladen County Sheriff Deputies effected the arrest of Curtis Sanders Cromartie today in the area of Jasmine Lane in Bladen County.

Cromartie was wanted by the Elizabethtown Police Department for the following felony charges: Assault With a Deadly Weapon With Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Dwelling and Injury to Real Property.

These charges are related to a shooting which occurred at 902 Nobie Street in Elizabethtown on December 3, 2018. The case is being investigated by Sergeant Roger Davis of the Elizabethtown Police Department and Cromartie is currently being held in the Bladen County Detention Center under a $51,000 secured bond.
