The charges stem from 2017 through 2020 when Campell was receiving benefits in both North Carolina and South Carolina totaling $37,500.00

Campbell was arrested in Dillion, South Carolina, and waived extradition back to North Carolina where she was charged and placed in the Bladen County Detention Center under a $50,000.00 bond.

Food Stamp fraud is a major problem in our country.  Some reports estimate that over 3 million people receive food stamp assistance in a program that services approximately 40 million Americans.
