Bladenboro, N.C. – On Sunday September 27, 2020, the Bladenboro Police Department conducted a multi-agency traffic checkpoint. The Bladenboro Police Department was assisted by Bladen County Sheriff’s Office, St. Pauls Police Department, North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (Bat Mobile).
The checkpoint resulted in four (4) drug charges, one (1) possession of a firearm by a felon, one (1) fugitive apprehension, two (2) child restraint violations and thirteen (13) miscellaneous traffic violations.
Bladenboro Police Chief William Howell said, “We would like to thank the cooperating agencies. As always, Bladenboro Police Department stands ready to keep our community safe during these unprecedented times.”
At the time of the report the fugitive arrested has not been named.
