Three teams of five players each teed it up Thursday afternoon in The Thundering Herd at Vineyard Golf at White Lake. When the dust cleared all three teams had shot seven-under par for the nine hole event.
A scorecard playoff was held starting on hole number six. The winning team, with a birdie on hole number one, was Michael Pastore, Kent Fisher, Chad Garner, John Russ and Seth Faircloth. In second place was Mark Mendell, David Faircloth, Jimmy Schultz, Dawson Bryan and Collins Bullard. Taking third was Jimmy Davis, Blake Davis, Stephen Clark, Will Heath and Ricky Williams.
The Thundering Herd is played every Thursday starting at 6 p.m. Anyone interested in playing in the nine-hole Captain’s Choice event should call the pro shop at 910-247-6132 before 5:30 p.m. to sign up.
