Midway defeated visiting East Bladen 10-0 Tuesday night in Four County Conference baseball action.
The Raiders improved to 7-1 in the league and 12-2 overall with the win. Midway scored 5 runs in the first and 5 more in the third inning.
Sophomore catcher Kyle Tatum batted 2-3 to lead the Eagle hitters. Juniors Alex Coates and Nikita Owens both finished 1-2 at the plate, while freshman Sincere Smith cracked one hit in three at-bats.
The Eagles had some scoring chances and left the bases loaded in the fourth inning.
Smith pitched the first 2.1 innings for East Bladen, while senior Matthew Massengill worked the final 1.2 innings on the hill. Midway capitalized on 8 hits and 8 walks to score their runs.
The Eagles are now 3-5 in the Four County and 7-9 overall.
