TABOR CITY – A nine-run third-inning propelled South Columbus to a 13-2 Three Rivers Conference baseball victory over West Bladen Friday night.

The Stallions scored 4 runs in the first two innings without a hit then pushed their lead to 13-1 with the big third inning.

West Bladen scored single runs in the first and fifth innings. The Knights had a run in and runners on second and third base in the first, but a couple of stellar defensive plays by the Stallions stranded the runners.

Senior Jamie Harrelson batted 2-2 with 2 doubles, 3 runs batted in and 2 runs scored to lead the Stallion hitters. Junior Harrison Gore was 2-4 with 2 runs scored and a rbi. Junior Tate Lee slugged a 2-run double.

Chandler Ward started on the mound and pitched the first two innings for the Stallions. Harrelson pitched the final 3 innings to get the win.

West Bladen will travel to East Bladen Friday night.
