TEACHEY – Wallace-Rose Hill handed East Bladen their second Four County Conference loss 10-3 Thursday night.
The Eagles dropped to 10-2 in the Four County Conference and 14-5 overall, but remained in first place in the league.
East Bladen scored single runs in the first and third innings to go up 2-0, but the Bulldogs rallied with a run in the third and 5 more in the fourth to take a 6-2 lead.
The Eagles pulled to within 6-3 in the top of the fifth, but three Bulldog runs in the fifth stretched their lead to 9-3.
Senior Cole Farrior batted 2-3 with a double, 3 runs batted in and a run scored. Senior Marshall Matthews had only one hit, but drove in 3 runs and scored one.
Sophmore Will Lanier finished 2-4 at the plate with an rbi and 2 runs scored. Senior Nolan Likens batted 3-4 for the Bulldogs.
Senior Logan Kisner pitched a 3-hit complete game, struck out 3 and walked two to pick up the win for Wallace-Rose Hill.
Senior Alex Coates started on the mound for East Bladen and was relieved by sophmore Sincere Smith.
East Bladen will host Union Tuesday.
