Junior Bud Baldwin rapped a 1-out single to center in the Wolfpack first. After Lawson walked, senior Jacob Allgood drove in Baldwin with a single to right, and Greyson Creech’s fielder’s choice scored J. T. Todd, the courtesy runner for Lawson.

The Wolfpack tallied their final run in the 2nd inning. Ashton Hammonds reached on a passed 3rd strike and Kyler Dowless walked. Hammonds advanced on Baldwin’s fly ball and darted home on a passed ball.

Junior Kaiden Stanley started on the mound for West Bladen and allowed 3 runs – 2 earned – on 2 hits and 4 walks while striking out two. Junior Josh Russ relieved in the 3rd inning and worked 4 scoreless innings allowing 1 hit and no walks while striking out six.

The Knights, now 1-3 in league play and 2-7 overall, will travel to West Columbus Tuesday night.
