The East Bladen Booster Club held their annual BBQ plate sale on Friday, September 29th at the Elizabethtown Presbyterian Church. The club handed out plates from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Over 400 tickets were sold and 350 plates  were distributed.

Smithfield Foods donated the BBQ which really helped with the fundraising efforts.

Josh Raynor, Mike Potter and Paul Johnson all donated cups to give out. Michael Wyatt, Lee Cain and Paul Shaw cooked the BBQ.

James Leach donated the beans and Ben Hill donated the tickets. Many parents and community members showed up to help serve and support the Booster Club.

Dr. Samuel Ray Cross said East Bladen Booster Club members want to take this opportunity to thank everyone that helped put this together.

The club also has school apparel to help raise money. At the football games you can purchase hoodies and t-shirts at the main gate. The hoodies are $25 and the t-shirts are $5.

Campbell Oil Company on Broad St and Clark Brothers on Poplar street in the Fresh Foods shopping center have the club’s hoodies for sale on hand as well.
